With 1060 being the average score, anything above that is an above-average score. A 1240 score places you at the 80th percentile: top fifth of test-takers. A 1280 is an 84th-percentile score, meaning you performed better than 84% of the total applicants, which is also a very good sore to gain admission into any of the highly selective institutions in the USA, and also qualify for a scholarship award. While a score of 1340 puts you in the top 10 percent of test takers.
